SFIFF51
The San Francisco International Film Festival is the longest running film festival in the country. I was able to work with a small team of designers to create the visual identity for the festival's 51st year. In order to keep the emphasis on the films, we constructed "ribbons" that wove through the photography in each printed piece. Taking an illustrative approach allowed us to explore fluidity and scale, reinforcing the movement or highlighting the tension inherent in each film still. The array of deliverables varied widely in size and print production, and included invitations, visitor passes, outdoor displays, print ads, website, and program guide.
