The Disposable Film Festival

The Disposable Film Festival celebrates the artistic potential of disposable video: short films made on non-professional devices such as one-time use video cameras, cell phones, point and shoot cameras, webcams, etc.* Building on an already established look and feel, I helped create posters, t-shirts and other merchandise that were sold at the 2009 festival.

The DFF committee stressed that they wanted to distance the event from the grungy clichés usually associated with "disposable" media and independent film. Using the existing logo as a starting point, I combined flat graphics with a bright color palette to bring a feeling of modernity and fun to the festival.
